In yet another trouble for sitting Guruharsahai MLA Fauja Singh Sarari, Deepak Sharma, former AAP leader from Guruharsahai region, who had been recently expelled from the party due to alleged Anti-Party activities, leveled several serious allegations including corruption, disproportionate of assets against the Guruharsahai MLA.
While addressing a press conference today, Sharma said that Sarari, who once used to boast about his honesty, is now totally involved in corruption and has even made several illegal properties within no time. "Before 2022 assembly polls, Sarari had minimal assets however after he became MLA, he did nothing but robbing innocent people of Guruharsahai who had voted for him hoping that during AAP regime, their lives will be changed but they were not aware that their lives will become more miserable", said Sharma adding that with people's money, Sarari made several properties worth crores in city area only besides Sarari had properties in Anandpur Sahib, Guruharsahai and other places also
Sharma alleged that Sarari had taken money from his own supporter Jashan Bawa, a young Sarpanch belonging to Tarinda village in Guruharsahai. It is pertinent to mention here that on May 31, Jashan , had killed himself with his licensed pistol. Earlier the family members of Jashan did not raise any issue and the body was cremated without postmortem.
However few days later, the family members of Jashan had levelled serious allegations on MLA Sarari and his PA Bachittar Singh alias Laddi. In a complaint submitted to the police, the family members had alleged that MLA Sarari and his PA had demanded Rs 15 Lakh from Jashan as "Party Fund" , however they could pay only Rs 13 lakh due to which Bachittar alias Laddi used to put pressure on him. The family members alleged that due to the pressure, Jashan chose to die.
" I have enough evidence against Sarari and I have given written complaints in vigilance bureau, police, ED and other agencies but no action has been taken against him. I want to ask senior AAP leadership, why they are silent. Why they are not adopting their "Zero Tolerance against corruption" policy against Sarari", said Sharma adding Sarari had already made crores of rupees during the last three years.
"One can imagine, how corrupt Sarari is. He did not even spare his own people, his own Sarpanches. We have example of Jashan and he was not the only one from whom the money had been taken. In the past, due to his involvement in corruption, he was removed from cabinet minister post by CM Bhagwant Mann but Sarari did not change", said Sharma.

Sharma alleged that he had been receiving life threats and if anything happens to him, only Guruharsahai MLA Fauja Singh Sarari will be responsible.
Meanwhile MLA Sarari refuted all the allegations levelled against him. "I am a retired police officer. I saved my money throughout my life. Moreover, I receive pension also. Besides this , I get good fixed income from other sources including agriculture . Whatever properties i have made, it is with my hard earned money. All the allegations, levelled against me are totally baseless ", said Sarari.
