The 85th birthday of Rahul Dev Burman, one of the greatest music composers of all times, was celebrated with dancing, singing and frolicking in a hotel by RD Burman Fans Club (RDBFC).
Chief guest MLA Jaideep Bihani, patron Manju Pandey advocate, Rajesh Jain, Manoj Jaju, Jagirchand Farma, Vijay Bhola, president advocate Vinod Goyal, secretary Dr. Kusum Jain, former president Shyam Sundar Goswami, treasurer Lalit Doda and other dignitaries lighted lamps before the portraits of Maa Saraswati and RD Burman.
Jaideep Bihani, Manju Pandey, RDBFC founder convener Shailendra Singh Chauhan, Vinod Bihani, Vimal Bihani, Navi Ahuja, Richa and Lalit Doda threw light on the personality and achievements of RD Burman. They said that RD Burman established new dimensions of Indian cinema music in his time, which proved to be a milestone. Of course, he is not among us today, but the echo of his music is present among all of us.
Singers Abhinav, Shobhit and Rajni Aggarwal presented songs composed by RD Burman. MLA Jaideep Bihani, Shailendra Singh Chauhan, Lalit Doda, Rajinder Pal Singh, Prem Chugh, Ruchika Chugh, Vijay Bhola, Jagirchand Farma and Sanjay Sethi also sang Burman's popular numbers. Dr. OP Vaish presented tunes on the mouth organ. People present started dancing and singing RD Burman's songs. Music was composed by Shobhit, Neeraj Jagga in conjunction with Rhythm Guru Sunil Maurya. The celebrations continued till late night. The program was conducted by Lalit Doda and Prem Chugh.
