Commemorating the 32nd death anniversary of renowned music composer Rahul Dev Burman, fondly known as 'Pancham Da', the RD Burman Fans Club Sriganganagar organized an impressive musical program.
Club's patrons Rajesh Jain, Narendra Changia, senior advocate Manju Pandey, Sandeep Mani, club president Advocate Vinod Goyal, founder coordinator Shailendra Singh Chauhan, secretary Dr. Kusum Jain, and Lions Club's co-provincial governor Dr. Ashutosh Vishisht lit lamps in front of the portrait of Goddess Saraswati and offered flowers at RD Burman's portrait.
Jt. secretary Nandan Gupta, Jagirchand Pharma, Prakash Jalandhara, Jai Kumar Jasuja, Bihari Soni said that although “Pancham Da” physically was no more with us, his music remains immortal in people's hearts and will live forever.
Singers Rashmi Arora, Yuvraj Sidhu, Yukta, Rajni Agarwal, Lalit Doda, Surendra Mani, Shailendra Singh Chauhan, Pankaj Pahwa, Advocate Naval Khemka, and others enthralled the audience with popular songs composed by RD Burman. Pankaj Pahwa accompanied on the keyboard, and Sunil Maurya on rhythm. A special moment of joy came when club member Pawan Jindal's birthday was celebrated with enthusiasm.
Club president Advocate Vinod Goyal expressed sincere thanks to everyone. He informed that the RD Burman Fans Club is preparing for a major program related to songs and music in the upcoming month of March
