In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government has transferred 13 IAS officers on Monday . As part of this order, Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of four districts — Jalandhar, Patiala, Kapurthala, and Sri Muktsar Sahib  have been changed. All transfer orders have come into immediate effect.

According to the government notification Himanshu Aggarwal has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Patiala. Amit Kumar Panchal is now the DC of Sri Muktsar Sahib. Varjeet Walia has been appointed as the DC of Jalandhar. Akash Bansal will serve as the new DC of Kapurthala.

Vikas Pratap has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education. Sumer Singh Gurjar becomes Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare. Jaspreet Singh takes charge as Director, Industries & Commerce. Abhijit Kaplish has been appointed Director, Mining & Geology.

Kavalpreet Brar will serve as Secretary Health along with additional charge of Faridkot Division. Babita has been appointed Agriculture Commissioner along with additional charge as Commissioner of Ferozepur Division. 

Harpreet Singh Sudan has been appointed Director Sports and Managing Director of PSIEC. Jasbir Singh-II becomes Additional Secretary in the General Administration Department. Tejdeep Singh Saini has been appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development), Jalandhar. 

Puneet Goyal has been given additional charge of Traders Commission. This large-scale administrative reshuffle is being seen as an effort by the government to improve efficiency and strengthen governance across departments.
