The cult classic film of Indian cinema, 'Sholay', has returned to theatres in its uncut version to mark 50 years since its first release. To celebrate this historic occasion, the RD Burman Fans Club in Sriganganagar organized a special screening at the PVR Multiplex Cinema Hall in Riddhi Siddhi Colony.
In this event, club members and dignitaries paid a heartfelt tribute to the recently deceased Bollywood veteran actor Dharmendra through this film.
The club's founding coordinator Shailendra Singh Chauhan, president senior advocate Vinod Goyal, secretary Dr. Kusum Jain, treasurer Lalit Doda, joint secretary Nandan Gupta, and other office bearers and members actively participated in this special show.
The event was attended by Bollywood famous singer Pavni Pandey's father Akshat Pandey, his grandmother Manju Pandey, patrons - Rajesh Jain, Gopal Mittal, Sanjeev Lohia, Pawan Jindal, Vinod Sethi, Amit Nagpal, Amar Singh Ahuja, Dr. OP Vaishya, Vimal Bihani, Vinod Bihani, Gaurav Agarwal, Kapil Tandon, Vijay Bhola, Jagir Pharma, Banshidhar Jindal, Raj Kumar Middha, film producer and writer Shivraj Shankar, Bihari Lal Soni, Kewal Krishan Maini, Raghubir Singh Moyal, Manoj Jaju, Jai Kumar Jasuja, Manish Jain and others.
This event was particularly delightful for the RD Burman Fans Club because the music director and background score composer of 'Sholay' was the great musician RD Burman himself. Every live orchestra program of the club begins with the theme music of 'Sholay'.
