RD BURMAN FANS CLUB'S BOLLYWOOD SINGING NIGHT ELEVATES MUSIC TO NEW HEIGHTS

The four-hour Bollywood Singing Night organized by the RD Burman Fans Club at Blooming Dales International School turned out to be a golden chapter in the musical history of Sriganganagar. 

Under the direction of music director and composer Santosh Kumar Kataria and Tulsi Anupam, famous singers including Varsha Dutta, Sangeeta Karjona, Akshat Pandey, Chinmayi Chatterjee, Majid, and Pyare Chauhan from Mumbai; Tanishka Matharu from Chandigarh; Mukesh Sharma from Ludhiana; Sultan Suleman and Ajit Singh Pawar from Bikaner; and Advocate Naresh Sharma enthralled the audience with their magical voices.

The instrumentalists—Vimal Chatterjee, Chand Sulemani, Sunil Maurya, Dheeraj Bharti, Arun Mankotia, Pankaj Pahwa, Rahul Shah, Mintu Devgan, Naman Sharma, Tahir Hussain, Zakir Hussain, Asghar Ali, Trilok Sharma, Himanshu Sharma, Ansh Maurya, Kuldeep Arora, Manoj Singh, Shaurya Mankotia, Raj Kumar Sharma, and Shailendra Singh Chauhan—delivered outstanding accompaniment. 

Musician Himank Gupta's keyboard rendition received tremendous appreciation from the audience. Chief guest MLA Jaideep Bihani announced that the state government has sanctioned five crore rupees for the construction of an auditorium in the mini-secretariat campus being developed at the site of the old sugar mill. He also shared that the memorial at the birthplace of ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh in Sriganganagar will soon be developed into a music and arts center. 

The program was dedicated to the renowned international saxophonist, music arranger, and composer Manohari Singh.
