BOSS BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2025 HELD

In the Kids's category, Team Best Buddies, in the men's doubles category, Team Smashers, in the mixed doubles category, Team Maverick One and in the women's doubles category, Team Shuttle Girls emerged as the winners

The BOSS Badminton Tournament 2025, organized by Bhavan's Old Students Society (BOSS), was held at the Sports Complex, Sector 7, where BOSS members, Bhavan Vidyalaya students, parents, and teachers participated with great enthusiasm. The event turned into a memorable celebration of fitness, friendship, and unity among Bhavanites.

Participants competed across multiple categories including men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and children’s doubles, showcasing excellent coordination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the day.

In the tournament results, the team "Best Buddies" emerged as winners in the children’s category, while "Team Smashers" won the men’s doubles category, with "Team Maverick" as runners-up. In the mixed doubles category, "Team Maverick One" secured the winning position, followed by "Team Bishnoi One" as runners-up. In the women’s doubles category, "Team Shuttle Girls" were declared winners and "Team Feather Friends" were the runners-up.

BOSS coordinator and senior faculty member Ms. Radha Bhauguna praised the coordination and enthusiasm across all age groups. BOSS President Keshav Garg expressed gratitude to all participants and the organizing team. He said this tournament was not just a sporting event but a reflection of Bhavan Vidyalaya’s legacy of holistic excellence.

On this occasion, senior BOSS advisor Karan Mahajan appreciated the sportsmanship on display and emphasized the importance of such platforms for community development. He credited the success of the tournament to the constant encouragement and support from Ms. Vinita Arora, Director of Education and Senior Principal of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. He added that her leadership continually inspires the BOSS team to organize impactful and inclusive activities that connect Bhavanites across generations.

Keshav Garg further said the tournament was a perfect blend of competitive spirit and Bhavanite connection. It brought together alumni, current students, teachers, and parents in a lively and collaborative environment, reinforcing the values of cooperation, health, and lifelong bonding with the Bhavan family.

It is noteworthy that BOSS is the alumni organization of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, and has been active for the past 20 years.
