In a first-of-its-kind initiative, a joint grievance redressal camp was organised at the IOW Office of the Northern Railway’s Ferozepur Division under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjay Sahu.
The primary objective of this unique experiment was to address, in an effective and time-bound manner, the issues being faced by employees and their families residing in railway colonies and staff quarters concerning maintenance and services.
The camp witnessed active participation from officers and supervisors of the Engineering, Electrical, and Medical Departments. Employees and their family members were given a platform to voice their concerns directly before the concerned officials. All grievances were not only heard on the spot but also recorded in writing to ensure their timely redressal on a priority basis.

Continuing this initiative, similar joint grievance redressal camps will be held on July 24, 2025, at the IOW Office in Amritsar, on July 28, 2025, in Ludhiana, and on July 29, 2025, in Jalandhar City.
The initiative reflects a proactive approach by the Ferozepur Division towards employee welfare and marks a significant step in fostering responsive and inclusive governance within the Railways.
