The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula, successfully organized a Basic Life Support (BLS) training programme in collaboration with the Civil Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula. The training aimed at enhancing the emergency response skills of faculty, staff, and students, ensuring preparedness for life-saving situations.
The session was conducted by a highly skilled medical team comprising Dr. Vikas Gupta (Civil Surgeon), Dr. Gagan Singla (Pediatrician & RMO), Mrs. Shashi, and Mrs. Roopali, all from the Civil Hospital, Panchkula. The training included both theoretical instructions and hands-on practical demonstrations, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for all attendees.
The event witnessed active participation from Dean I/C Prof. Satish Gandharve, DMS Coordinator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Garg, esteemed faculty members, staff, and students, making the session highly interactive and impactful.
The programme was seamlessly coordinated by Dr. Aparna Dileep and Dr. Dushyant Parmar, with Dr. Dushyant Parmar also leading an additional practical demonstration session for the students after the training.
Expressing gratitude, the institute acknowledged the unwavering support and guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, whose encouragement played a pivotal role in making the event a success.
