A grand cultural evening titled “Pankh Hote To Udd Aati Re…” was organized under the aegis of the Akhil Bhartiya Vaishya Maha Sammelan at the BDIS School Auditorium Sriganganagar. Renowned singer Sangeeta Melekar, captivated hundreds of music lovers with her soulful renditions of timeless classics.
The program commenced with Melekar’s enchanting presentation of the song “Pankh Hote To Udd Aati Re…”, which left the audience spellbound. Her duets with Manoj Arya (“Sagar Kinare Tu Jo Nahi To…”), Vimal Bihani (“Humsafar Mere Humsafar…”), and Ravi Kumar (“Bekhudi Mein Sanam…”) were equally captivating. A group performance by Rajesh Jain, Vinod Bihani, Jagir Farma, Vijay Bhola, Manoj Jaju, and Vishal Singla on “Zindagi Mil Ke Bitayenge” further elevated the atmosphere.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mohit Tantia, Vice Chairperson of Tantia University, and Special Guests Banwari Lal Singhal, State President and former MLA from Alwar, Keshav Gupta, State General Secretary and Ajay Saraf, Rajasthan In-Charge. The ceremony was presided over by Ranjana Bihani. Music composer Manoj Arya was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for his 32 years of musical contributions.
The evening was further enlivened by comedic performances from film director Vijay Suthar, Vikas Mahla, Muskan Khatri, Rakesh Verma, and Harsh Goyal, whose humorous acts had the audience in stitches, adding a light-hearted touch to the program.
