ADDITIONAL RELIEF MATERIALS TO BE PROVIDED IMMEDIATELY, HARYANA GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE STAND READY TO HELP IN CALAMITY

Expressing deep solidarity with the people of Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir, who are bearing the brunt of the calamity caused by heavy rains, the Haryana Government has released financial assistance of Rs 5 crore each to both states from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. This assistance aims to provide immediate relief to affected families and to strengthen the ongoing rescue and rehabilitation efforts in both the states.
In a letter addressed to Punjab Chief Minister Sh. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Sh. Omar Abdullah, Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that in this difficult hour of natural calamity, the Haryana Government and the people of the state stand firmly with the affected states. He said that due to the heavy rainfall and flooding, common people are facing severe difficulties, and in such a situation, it is the duty of the Haryana Government to act as a supportive neighbour and friend.
Sh Nayab Singh Saini also assured that the Haryana Government is fully prepared to provide all possible support to ensure timely and adequate assistance to the affected people. He urged the Chief Ministers of both states to freely communicate any requirement for additional relief materials or assistance, assuring that the Haryana Government will extend the necessary help immediately.
He said that in this hour of disaster, the highest priority is to restore hope and provide relief to the affected people. The Haryana Government will ensure its full contribution in this effort, so that no family feels left alone during this crisis.
It is noteworthy that recently, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini wrote to Punjab Chief Minister Sh Bhagwant Singh Mann, extending the full cooperation of the Haryana Government in this hour of disaster, in the spirit of humanity and brotherhood.
