Newly appointed Senior Vice-Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and 10 members of Punjab State Women Commission assumed office  on Thursday. 

Disclosing this information, Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission Mrs. Raj Lali Gill said that Mrs. Rupinder Kaur Gill from Bathinda has assumed office as Senior Vice-Chairperson and Mrs. Geeta Gill from Ajnala has assumed office as Vice-Chairperson today. 

She said that along with this, 10 members also took office today, including Mrs. Navjot Kaur from Hoshiarpur, Mrs. Krishna Devi from Jalandhar, Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur from Bathinda, Mrs. Ajinderpal Kaur from Ludhiana, Mrs. Swaranjit Kaur from Mohali, Mrs. Sunita Rani from Bathinda, Mrs. Sukhbir Kaur from Amritsar, Mrs. Rekha Mani Sharma from Pathankot, Mrs. Virpal Kaur Chahal from Patiala and Mrs. Amrit Puri from Ludhiana . 

On this occasion, the Chairperson of the Commission, Mrs. Raj Lali Gill, congratulated the newly appointed Senior Vice Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and members and asked them to work with full commitment to ensure the welfare of the women of the state.
