As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Ms. KM Priyanka, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Ms. Gurjeet Kaur, SDPO/South a team of police officials of Police Station, Sector-31, Chandigarh headed by Insp. Rajiv Kumar, SHO/PS-31, got major success by arresting a drug peddler namely Ajay Kumar @ Sanjay S/o Sh. Mitthu R/o #1981, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, Age 25 Years. 

It is submitted that on 25.10.2025, ASI Pawan Kumar along with police party of PP Hallomajra were on patrolling duty, at about 10:30 PM, when they reach near Cactus Park, Phase-2, Ramdarbar. They saw that a person sitting in the park. On seeing the police party he swiftly stand-up with a carrying bag on his right shoulder and try to skip from there. On the basis of suspicions he was apprehended with the help of police party. On the search of his bag, 15 injections of phineramine maleate 2 ml each and 15 injections of Buprenorphine 1 ml each (contraband) recovered from his possession, who failed to produce any license/permit for the same. On verification, he disclosed his name Ajay Kumar @ Sanjay S/o Sh. Mitthu R/o 1981 phase 2 Ramdarbar age 25 yrs and he has been arrested in this case.
