Kerala Samajam, Chandigarh celebrated the 69th Kerala Formation Day with great enthusiasm and fervor at its premises in Chandigarh on Sunday. The event was marked by cultural performances, traditional Kerala cuisine, and a deep sense of pride in the rich heritage of the state.
The celebration began with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chief Guest Ms. Harpreet Kaur Babla, Hon'ble Mayor of Chandigarh, accompanied by distinguished members of the Samajam. The act symbolized enlightenment, prosperity, and the enduring spirit of Kerala. Mr. Suresh K. Nair, President of Kerala Samajam, Chandigarh, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and shared his delight in celebrating this momentous occasion. One of the most anticipated highlights of the evening was the traditional Kerala feast the grand "Sadya." Served on fresh banana leaves, this lavish spread of over 22 authentic dishes offered a true taste of Kerala's culinary splendour.
