A civic action program was organised by 19 Battalion n BSF at bordering village Jhangar Bhaini in Fazilka Sector. The program was inaugurated by Shri. Vijay Kumar , DIG, Sector headquarters Abohar accompanied by Sh sunil Soibam, Commandant 19 Bn, Sh. Gaurav Yadav, DC/QM a/w 03 officers, 10 SOs and 30 ORs.
Sh. Vijay Kumar, DIG informed the border dwellers that all the personnel deployed on the border are committed to the security of the country as well as to help the border dwellers at all times, whether it is the tough time of Operation Sindoor or the terrible disaster like floods.
DIG said that at present, the outbreak of mosquitoes has increased, due to which diseases like dengue and malaria are spreading , due to which the villagers are also falling ill. Therefore fogging machines are being distributed as a precautionary measures in the Civic Action Programe, He also encouraged the villagers to strive for a drug-free India.
He asked the youth of the village to participate in the Borderman Marathon organized by the BSF, Sarpanch of Vill Gulaba Bhaini, Janger Bhaini, Teja Rohilla, Muhar Jamshser, Maharsona, Mouzam were also present at the event,
