The Late Sardar Sawan Singh Trophy Men's Seniors League-cum-Knockout (45-over-a-side) Cricket Tournament will begin on December 10th at the Tri-City Inderjit Cricket Ground and Jawaharpur Cricket Ground, Derabassi.
According to Inderjit Singh and Amarjit Kumar, the first edition of the Men's Seniors Cricket Championship is being held on a league-cum-knockout basis. All matches will be played with a red ball and white uniforms.
According to Amarjit Kumar, Secretary General of the Haryana Sports Welfare Association (Registered), and Inderjit Singh, Organizing Secretary, the primary objective of regularly organizing the cricket championship is to protect the young generation in rural and backward areas from drug addiction and to provide players from rural and rural areas with the opportunity to showcase their talent on large grounds.
All teams will play at least four league matches, and the top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals. All matches will be played at the Tri-City Inderjit Cricket Ground and the Jawaharpur Cricket Ground in Derabassi. All matches will be played over 45 innings. According to Inderjit Singh and Amarjit, the organizing committee will present Man of the Match awards, attractive trophies to the winners and runners-up, and awards for the best batsman, best bowler, best fielder, best wicketkeeper, and best all-rounder. The organizing committee will also provide red match balls, mineral water, and refreshments. The deadline for team entry/registration is December 1st
