A team of Special Cell, led by ACP Dharmendra Kumar, has arrested Piyush Piplani, Ankush Solanki, Kuwarbir, Lovepreet Singh and Santokh @ Kapil Khatri, in two separate operations, significantly denting the strength of the Arzoo & Anmol Bishnoi – Harry Boxer syndicate.
Piyush Piplani, 28 years, s/o Roshan Lal, r/o Panchkula, Haryana: He was the lead shooter in the murder of Inderpreet Singh @ Parry, committed on 01/12/2025 at Sector 26, Chandigarh, registered vide FIR No. 129/25, dt. 01/12/2025, u/s 103/3(5) BNS, P.S. East Sector – 26, Chandigarh. He was also the lead shooter in the murder of national kabaddi player Sonu Nolta, committed on 05/06/2025 at Pinjore, Panchkula, Haryana, registered vide FIR No. 229/25, dt. 06/06/2025, u/s 103(1)/3(5) BNS & 25 Arms Act, P.S. Pinjore, Panchkula, Haryana.

Santokh @ Kapil Khatri, 29 years, s/o Jaspal Kumar, r/o District Tarn Taran, Punjab: Wanted in the murder of Lion Bar & Restaurant owner Ashutosh Mahajan @ Ashu in September 2025 at Amritsar, Punjab, registered vide FIR No. 141/25, dt. 01/09/2025, u/s 103/3(5) BNS, P.S. Division ‘A’. Police Commissionerate Amritsar, Punjab.
Mr. P.S. Kushwahm , Addl. Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, said, with these arrests, the shooters running wanted in at least three sensational murders of Inderpreet Singh Parry, Ashu Mahajan and Sonu Nolta have been contained and shall be subjected to the processes of law. The operation began with the receipt of an input that one of the criminals involved in the murder of Inderpreet Singh Parry had visited Paharganj area of Delhi in the recent past while evading the law enforcement agencies.
Thorough fieldwork followed with intensive data mining helped corroborate the input while generating actionable leads. Patiently working on the same, accused (1) Kunwarbir Singh, (2) Kapil, and (3) Lovepreet Singh @ Love were arrested from near Ring Road, Shanti Van, where they had arrived looking for the earlier accommodation previously occupied by Kunwarbir.
Intensive on-spot questioning, data cross-referencing and professional role-play led to the understanding that some more associates of the apprehended trio were also expected to arrive in Delhi in some time. Additional deployment of resources and real time monitoring of tele-selectors led another team to the area of Sarai Kale Khan Bus Stand, Delhi from where accused (4) Piyush Piplani, and (5) Ankush Solanki were arrested when they had arrived in Delhi and were on the move to gang-up with their associates already under police detention.
From the apprehended accused, a total of 04 firearms and a large quantity of ammunitions have been recovered. As per preliminary interrogations, the accused persons had been directed to team up in Delhi for executing, yet unknown target, from amongst the many persons who have been victims of threat and extortion calls from the syndicate. Police interdiction has thus resulted in the prevention of a potentially heinous crime in the national capital.
