New Delhi/Suraj Rohilla:
The international sports championship, organized under the aegis of the Indian Sports and Education Federation (ISEF) in Pokhara, Nepal, concluded with resounding success. The competition was held from December 30, 2025, to January 3, 2026.
This competition was not just a tournament, but a platform for the dreams of children from villages, towns, and cities who, despite limited resources, showcased their talent on an international stage.
Teams from India and other countries participated in this international competition. Many of the players who once practiced on makeshift fields, in the dirt and open grounds, were seen winning medals and accolades on an international platform like Pokhara.
Addressing the players, Advocate Manoj Yadav, General Secretary of the Indian Sports and Education Federation, said, “Talent is not confined to any city. If there is strong determination and the right platform, even a child from a village can bring glory to the country and abroad.” He further added that the objective of ISEF is to provide equal opportunities to children from both rural and urban areas, so that economic or geographical limitations do not hinder their success. The Federation will continue to organize similar national and international events in the future.
At the closing ceremony, the winning players were awarded medals, trophies, and certificates. This event clearly conveyed the message that with hard work, discipline, and proper guidance, every child can become an international player.
