The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Mail Overseer, Head Post Office, Ramgarh,Jharkhand, while accepting a bribe of Rs. 15,000 from the complainant. 

CBI registered the instant case on 07.01.2026 against the Mail Overseer, Head Post Office, Ramgarh, Jharkhand based on a complaint alleging that the accused demanded a bribe of Rs. 30,000 from the complainant for allowing her to join at the Head Post Office, Ramgarh.

CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 15,000 from the complainant for allowing her to join as Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) at the Head Post Office, Ramgarh. Investigation is continuing.
