A total of 222 voters participated, out of which 186 voted in favour of the province division. Outgoing PRO Ashish Arora stated that the division of the province will make administrative management more efficient, lead to the expansion of clubs, and allow social service activities to be conducted in a more effective manner.
He informed that Province 3233 E-First mainly covers the areas of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Now, this province will be divided into two separate units. The proposal for this division has been under discussion for a long time and was formally passed through voting in the convention.
Arora said the process is now in its final stage. The proposal will be sent to the headquarters of Lions International in Oak Brook, Illinois, USA, for further formalities and approval. After receiving the green signal from the headquarters, the official formation of the new province will take place, which is likely to be effective from the upcoming session.
