CAR,EMPTY SHELL POUCH RECOVERED

In a major breakthrough, the Police Station Crime, Chandigarh has succeeded in busting an interstate and cross Border Narco Drug syndicates. The case was cracked under the leadership of Sh. Manjeet Sheoran, (SP-Crime, Chandigarh), under the Supervision of Sh. Lakshay Pandey, DSP-Crime, led by Insp. Satvinder, Police Station-Crime Sector 11, Chandigarh. 

On 27.02.2026, based on a secret information, a team of PS Crime headed by SI Om Parkash apprehended Aftab from Sector-39, Chandigarh, and recovered 1.065 Kg of Heroin from his possession and accordingly his arrest was made in this case. His disclosure led to the arrest of another four namely Nitin Kumar, Ajay @ Sanju, Sahil Kumar @ Prince and Satpal Singh.

During further interrogation of accused Aftab, Drug Money of Rs. 2,20,000 has also been recovered, whereas Heroin of 23.17 grams has been recovered on the instance of accused Nitin Kumar and recovery of 18.97 grams Heroin also made from the accused Sahil Kumar@ Prince and also recovered Electronic weighing machine =01, Empty small pouches= 04 from the accused Ajay @ Sanju.

TOTAL RECOVERIES: ● HEROIN – 1 Kg and 107.14 GRAMS WORTH RS. 2.35 CRORESM  CASH AMOUNT = 2, 20,000/-,  One Skoda Car,  Electronic weigh machine.

RECOVERY FROM ACCUSED: Aftab S/o Sh. Mohammad Umar R/o # 338/1 near Manji Sahib Gurudwara, Charki-Mohalla, Ambala City, Haryana, Age 26 yrs, Recovery Heroin = 1.065 KG, Drug money= 2.2 LAKHS, Skoda Car.

The accused Aftab was found to be a key operative in the drug trafficking network. During the course of investigation, it was revealed that he was in contact with one Parvez S/o Mohammad Yunus, resident of Charkhi Mohalla, Ambala City, who is presently residing in France and working as a painter and they came in contact with one Pakistani national. On the directions of Parvez, accused Aftab supplies drugs procured from Amritsar based person who is in contact with parvez and is a Pakistani national. Efforts are being made to arrest the said person.

Nitin Kumar S/O Late Ramesh Kumar R/o 2252/1 Choti Majri Ambala City Haryana Age 35 years

Recovery : Heroin= 23.17 grams

ROLE AND MODUS OPERENDI:  During investigation, it was revealed that the accused Nitin Kumar used to  receive consignments of heroin from co-accused Aftab. Thereafter, he was involved in supplying and selling the narcotic substance to local drug peddlers and consumers in Ambala City, Haryana, thereby facilitating the distribution network of the syndicate.

Sahil Kumar@ Prince S/o Ashok Kumar R/o # 3081, Gali No 5, Jawhar Nagar, Camp, Ludhiana age 25 years

Recovery : Heroin = 18.97 grams

Ajay @ Sanju S/o Raj Kumar R/o # 1987, Gali No. 14, Labour Colony Near Midda Chowk, Jawahar Nagar Camp, Ludhiana age 25 years

Recovery: Electronic weighing machine =01, Empty small pouches= 04

ROLE AND MODUS OPERENDI: The accused Sahil Kumar @ Prince and ajay @ Sanju were found to be
 actively involved in the distribution chain of the narcotics network. They used to receive heroin from co-accused Aftab and further supply the same to drug peddlers and consumers in Ludhiana and Tricity areas.

Satpal Singh S/o Nishan Singh R/o # Village Kaler Bala Phai, Baba Jiwan Singh Gurudwara, tehsil Baba Bakala, Distt Amritsar age 22, years

ROLE/MODUS OPERENDI: The accused Satpal Singh was acting as an associate of the accused Aftab
and was assisting in the transportation, supply, and distribution of heroin to various drug peddlers. His role was to facilitate the movement and delivery of narcotic consignments to different locations as directed by Aftab.

All accused were sent to judicial custody and Investigation of this case is still ongoing.
