The 41st convocation of DAV College Abohar was held on Saturday. Dr. Anoop Kumar Vats, Principal DAV College, Jalandhar, National Coordinator (College) DAV College Managing Committee, was the chief guest.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan presented the report of various activities of the college and shared the achievements of the students. Degrees were awarded to 270 students in the convocation ceremony.

Chief guest Dr. Anup Kumar Vats congratulated the students and said that today is a day of determination and enthusiasm. After years of hard work this day has come for the students. It is very important for the youth to come forward in nation building. Youth is the future of any country. They should participate in the development of society.

He exhorted the students to set a goal and move forward towards it. Inspired the students to learn something new and then give it back to the society. He administered an oath to all the degrees obtaining students to remain dedicated to the society. He said that wherever he goes, DAV College Abohar always lives in his heart. We will make meaningful efforts to further the pride of the college.

Dr. Rekha Sood Handa, Principal Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Dr. Vijay Grover, Acting Principal DAV College of Education and eminent social activist Naresh Khurana also welcomed the chief guest.
