66th Battalion of the Border Security Force has been conferred the General Chaudhary Trophy among the battalions for the year 2022. At Rampura Headquarters of BSF, Commandant Dinesh Kumar and other ranks celebrated this with sweets and dance.
Rani Singh, chairperson of BAWA Welfare Organization and other families performed folk dances of different states to express pleasure on the achievement. Social activist Liladhar Sharma showered flowers to share the happiness.

The selection process takes place in different stages. This includes ground knowledge, firing, physical fitness, level of examination, brave functioning of the soldiers. As much as every battalion dream of this trophy, this time the dream of 66th Battalion came true.
It is worth mentioning that under the command of Dinesh Kumar the Bn has performed well at various places in the country. The trophy will be awarded to the Commandant on the foundation day of the BSF to be held in Amritsar on 4th December.
