Members of the Brahmin Sabha, who accompanied Subhash Nagar Vinod Sharma to the City-1 police station here and met Station House Officer Maninder Singh demanded action against the operator of a private hospital for not attending an emergency and alleged misbehaviour with the minor patient and his parents.

The victim family in a separate complaint sought action from the District Civil Surgeon also Sharma said that on April 22 at 7 am, he brought his son Abhay (13) along with his wife in an injured state to the private hospital so that the bleeding minor boy could get treatment in an emergency. There was a lot of blood flowing around his son's nose and face.

The hospital staff asked him to fill a form and deposit Rs 500. Sharma said that in a hurry he forgot his wallet and mobile phone at home and requested the staff to start treatment to save the child and assured payment within next few minutes but the staff refused.

Meantime the incharge doctor came there and said that the treatment will start only after payment is made. During this the child had lost a lot of blood. When the victim was taking his child to some other hospital, the doctor allegedly misbehaved with Sharma and his son and said take your child to some animal hospital for treatment.
