In ongoing drive wrt “Yudh Nashyan Virudh” Police teams of Sub Division Dera Bassi, Distt SAS Nagar were successful in cutting the supply chain of drugs, demolition of drug peddlers illegal structures and De-Addiction of Drug Addicts.

A sustained crackdown on drug smugglers/ peddlers is in process. In the war against Drugs, Sub-Division Dera Bassi Police have registered 47 FIRs of NDPS Act and total 71 Accused including 12 listed drug peddlers have been arrested so far and 1.290 Kg Cocaine, 501 gm Heroine, 4.75 Kg Opium, 13 Kg Ganja, 36 Kg Poppy, 734 Tablets, 111 gm Sulfa and 1,49,000/- Drug Money have been recovered so far. 20 Drug Addicts have been admitted to De-Addiction Center at SAS Nagar.

Drug Hotspot “Trivedi Camp” Mubarikpur has been abandoned after continues raids by Police Teams. Illegal structure constructed on Panchayat Land by Listed drug peddler Saleem Khan r/o vill Amlala, PS Dera Bassi was also demolished.

On the directions of SSP SAS Nagar - Sh Harmandeep Singh Hans IPS, the police teams of Sub-Division Dera Bassi, District SAS Nagar, are working tirelessly in “Yudh Nashayan Virudh” to eradicate the drug menace.
