DELHI POLICE BUSTED NARCO SYNDICATE INDULGED IN SUPPLY OF CHARAS, THREE KEY OPERATIVES ARRESTED

CHARAS SUPPLY FROM KASOL (HIMACHAL PRADESH) TO MULTI STATE CHAIN

Under the ongoing drive against drug traffickers in Delhi, a Narco Syndicate indulged in supply of charas has been dismantled, leading to the arrest of three key operatives with seizure of 2124 grams Charas worth approximately Rs. 1.10 crore in international market recovered. The cultivator as well as the suppliers nabbed. The recovered Charas was sourced from Kasol Himachal Pradesh, indicating a multi-State supply chain.

In a bold and decisive action, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Crime Branch has successfully dismantled a major Narco-syndicate indulged in supply of Charas from Kasol, Himachal Pradesh to Delhi & NCR. This extensive operation led to the arrest of three key operatives, confiscation of high-value contraband, and identification of substantial assets tied to the syndicate.

OPERATION HIGHLIGHTS: -

• National-Level Drug Network Busted: A well-organized Narco-syndicate, indulged in supply of contraband charas has been taken down. Three principal operatives (source, middleman as well as peddler) involved in the supply of charas have been arrested.
• Rs. 1.10 crore worth of charas in international market has been seized, underscoring the network’s scale and reach.
• Supply Chain Identified: The seized contraband has been traced to suppliers in Delhi and Himachal Pradesh indicating a complex inter-state operation. 

Police said, on 08.01.2025, a secret information was received by ASI Yogendra regarding one Naseeb r/o Distt- Lakhimpur Kheri UP Age about 25 Years who is indulged in supply of Charas would be coming to Majnu ka Tila alongwith his accomplice Sandeep R/o Distt. Mohali, Punjab, age about 40 yrs by white color Ertiga having registration number HP-01SA-0307.

Therefore, a dedicated team compromising ASI Sanjay, ASI Yogender, HC Anuj, HC Amit and HC Mahipal was formed. After getting the necessary approval, acting on the tipoff the said team of ANTF/Crime Branch conducted a raid in Hotel Maharaja, Old Market, Timarpur, Delhi. Both the above mentioned persons were nabbed with the recovery of 1438 gm Charas classified as a commercial quantity under the NDPS Act was recovered from them. The case was registered under FIR No. 08/2025, u/s 20/29 NDPS Act at Crime Branch, Delhi.

OPERATIONAL STRATEGY AND EXECUTION: - Under the ongoing drive against drug traffickers in Delhi, the ANTF team developed intelligence on Naseeb, who was working in Distt. Kasol and was indulged in supply of Charas. An operational team, led by Inspector Vikas Pannu and supervised by ACP Raj Kumar (ANTF), swiftly mobilized to intercept him. Acting on credible information, the team apprehended Naseeb alongwith the associate Sandeep from Maharaja Hotel in Timarpur, while they were waiting for customers for supplying Charas.

INVESTIGATIONS AND ARRESTS: - The ensuing investigation led to additional arrest of Inder Singh R/o Distt Kullu HP from his house. 696 grams of charas was recovered during search of house.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: 

Naseeb, a resident of Lakhipur Kheri, UP, used to cultivate the charas in the fields of Inder SIngh. He was nabbed with the recovery of 1428 grams Charas.

Sandeep, a resident of Kharar, Punjab drove Naseeb till Delhi in his taxi car for the supply of the contraband in Delhi & NCR.

Inder Singh @ Indru, a resident of vill Chhalal, Kasol, HP gets the charas cultivated through Naseeb in the hills of vill Chhalal. It takes around 8 hours of continuous tracking to reach at these hills. But due to presence of snow, it is not possible to track upto these hills in off season
