  As per the advisory issued by the Punjab government, the district Homeopathic Department on Tuesday handed over immunity-booster homeopathic medicine Arsenic album 30 to officials of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) to be given to sanitation workers, security guards and other needy persons, who have been fighting against Covid-19 as frontline warriors.

The Department of Ayush, Government of India has already advised everybody to take Arsenicum Album 30 as immunity booster.

District Homeopathy Officer, Dr. Gurjit Singh Buttar and Pharmacist Gurdeep Singh briefed about the benefits of Immunity Booster at the time COVID-19 at a brief function held at Vice Chancellor conference room.

Dr. Buttar stated that a dose of medicine should be taken on an empty stomach for three days consecutively in the morning. "After taking the medicine, there should be no intake of food or liquid for at least 30 minutes. After taking the medicine for three days, the dose could be repeated after a gap of one month. It will help in boosting the immunity against the diseases as well as Covid-19," he said.

MRSPTU, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mohan Paul Singh Ishar and Registrar, Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu, while lauding the efforts of the District Homeopathy Department directed the NSS wing and concerned medical officials of the university to give the medicine to all frontline warriors who had relentlessly been helping the people who were in distress.

MRSPTU Registrar, Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu, Campus Director, Dr. Savina Bansal, Senior faculty Dr. Manjit Bansal, Dr. Paramjit Singh, NSS in-charge Dr. Meenu, Director Public Relations Harjinder Sidhu and University Senior Medical Officer, Dr. H.M. Garg were also present on this occasion.
