104 MISSING MOBILE PHONES TRACED, RESTORED TO THE OWNERS

During a special drive launched by the police in Sriganganagar, as many as 104 missing mobile phones have been recovered in the district, the same are being returned to the owners.

Sriganganagar SP Rajan Dushyant said that the drive was started two months ago with 'Apna Mobile Apne Haath”. The team of Cyber Cell made special efforts and managed to find 104 mobile phones. In a program organized at the Police Lines this afternoon, mobile phones were returned to more than 60 persons. Rest of the mobile phone owners could not reach due to personal reasons. Mobile phones will also be delivered to them.

Most of the mobile phones that fell on the way or left by mistake have been recovered. Those who got these mobile phones did not return the same to the owners but either allegedly sold or gave them away. There were also many cases in which mobile phones were not used for 4-6 months after being found. But later, as soon as the SIM card was inserted, it was caught by the surveillance system of the cyber cell. During two months, these mobile phones were traced and recovered.

Police sources said that many mobile phones were still not available. Most of these mobile phones were locked after being lost, the users will be caught as soon as they are online.
