NEW COURT COMPLEX IN SRIGANGANAGAR TO COST RS 111 CRORE

For Advocates and other people in Sriganganagar near Abohar it was a very special day as the foundation stone of the new court complex was laid in the mini secretariat area.

Justice Manoj Garg and Justice Inderjit Singh of Jodhpur High Court laid the first bricks of the five-storied new court complex, amidst chanting of Vedic shlokas. District Collector Zakir Hussain, Superintendent of Police Rajan Dushyant, District and Sessions Judge Chander Shekhar Sharma, former Rajasthan Bar Council President Navrang Chaudhary, local Bar Association president Vijay Riwar were among those present.

A new court complex is going to be developed in Sriganganagar after 66 years. All the courts will be accommodated in the same building. There will also be separate chambers of advocates in the same campus. The complex will be fully air-conditioned and its total cost will be about Rs 111 crores, the budget has been released by the state govt. The courts in Sriganganagar were currently running in different complexes.
