A team of PS-IT Park apprehended one drug peddler Deepak @ Nanua (24) by profession Fruit Seller  S/o Manohar Lal and recovered 15.28 grams Heroin from his possession.

Police said, on  11.08.2025, a team headed by SI Surya Parkash No. 1295/CHG was on Crime Control and prevention patrolling duty in the area of Police Station Sector-IT Park, Chandigarh, while the police party was near Lalit Hotel parking of IT Park, they noticed a person after seeing the police party is trying to escape.

Upon this the police party tried to apprehend him. On seeing apprehended the person tried to throw away a momy envelope (Plastic pouch) the envelope was caught in the hand of boy and checked. On checking a momy envelope was found  with 15.28 grams Heroin. On asking he disclosed his name as Deepak @ Nanua S/o Manohar Lal R/o H.No.- 2024, NIC MM Chd, age 24 yrs. In this regard a Case FIR No. 70 dated 12.08.2025 U/S 21 NDPS Act, PS- IT Park, Chandigarh registered against him and he arrested in this case. 

As per record of PS-IT Park and ICJM, no criminal record has found against accused Deepak@Nanua.
