Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar was honoured at the 1st National Achievers Awards 2025 ceremony, held at CT University, Ludhiana, with the participation of 45 institutions from across the country. The event organized by the National EduTrust of India (NEI) witnessed the presence of Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi, Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Tandon and other distinguished guests.
The GAMC was conferred with the Institutional Award for Promoting Women’s Rights in recognition of its remarkable initiatives in empowering women and fostering an inclusive, safe, and progressive campus environment.
Principal Dr. Rekha Sood Handa was honoured with the Best Principal for Academic Excellence Award, securing the First Position in this category for her exemplary leadership, academic vision, and outstanding contributions to the field of education.
Amandeep Kaur, Nodal Officer, received the Third Prize in the Young Women Leader in Education Category, acknowledging her dedication, leadership, and innovative initiatives in promoting education and women empowerment.
