A heartfelt tribute was paid to Hazari Lal Rinwa, veteran social reformer and philanthropist who held the position of President of the Sahitya Sadan, established in 1924 by the immortal education saint of the desert, Swami Keshwanand, for several decades.
On his death anniversary, a meeting was held at the Sahitya Sadan premises.
Mayor Vimal Thatai said that Swamiji entrusted the responsibility of Sahitya Sadan to Hazari Lal Rinwa and freedom fighter Lala Chandi Ram Verma. Rinwa had a prominent place in the advisory committee for development works of former Lok Sabha Speaker Late Balram Jakhar. Educationist Saroj Nagpal said that with the support of the Rinwa family, Sahitya Sadan has successfully completed 101 years of its establishment.
Following the Havan Yagya, conducted under the guidance of Ashok Sharma Shastri, those who offered floral tributes to Rinwa's portrait included Mayor Vimal Thatai, Improvement Trust former chairman Anil Nagpal, Sahitya Sadan president Suryakant Rinwa and in-charge Dr. Sandeep Watts, Panchayat Samiti former President Ravikant Rinwa, Gaushala president Fakir Chand Goyal, Dharamveer Batra, RASA president Sham Lal Arora, senior educationist M.R. Gupta, Seva Samiti president Naresh Baghla and Patron Satpal Gilhotra, Radhey Shyam Gupta, Rajkumar, Anurag Nagpal, Lekhraj, Mahavir and many others. Dushyant Rinwa was the main host of the Havan Yagya.
The program was conducted by Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh.
