Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi met with the bereaved family of the IPS officer in Chandigarh. Rahul arrived at the official residence of Puran Kumar's IAS wife, Amneet P. Kumar, in Sector 24 around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Rahul Gandhi met with Puran Kumar's family, expressing his condolences and sharing their grief. He also paid tribute to IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar. Rahul spent about half an hour with Puran Kumar's family, speaking with them. He also encouraged Puran Kumar's two daughters and assured the family that he and the entire Congress party stand with them in this hour of grief and will take every step to ensure justice.

During his meeting with the family, he urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini to take swift action in this case and arrest the officers accused in the suicide note. He urged the Haryana Chief Minister to end this drama and take action to provide justice to the family. He urged the Haryana Chief Minister to fulfill his promise to the IPS family and their daughters. He said, "The two daughters who have lost their father, they and the entire family, are under immense pressure. Let their father's last rites be performed."

In fact, Rahul Gandhi said, "This is a tragic incident, and this is a Dalit family that has been discriminated against for years. Other officers were working to discourage IPS Y. Puran Kumar, insulting him, and sabotaging his career. And this isn't just about this one family; there are millions of Dalits in the country. They are being given the wrong message: no matter how successful you become, no matter how intelligent you are, if you are a Dalit, you can be suppressed, crushed, and thrown away. But we do not accept this, nor can we accept it."

Rahul Gandhi said, "Amneet Kumar, the wife of IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar, is a serving IAS officer, so everyone should be aware of the pressure she could face in this case. Therefore, my clear message is to take action against those officers as soon as possible and arrest them immediately." Do it. Regarding the family's consent to a post-mortem, Rahul said the family's clear message is that they want respect. Someone who was humiliated while alive deserves respect after death, and this is absolutely right. Every Dalit brother and sister in the country deserves respect and justice.

AMIDST CONTROVERSERIES, ASI ROHTAK COMMITTED SHOOTS HIMSELF

An ASI posted in Rohtak has shot himself. The ASI died on the spot due to the gunshot wound. The ASI's body was found in a pool of blood in a room. The ASI has been identified as Sandeep Kumar Lathar. It is noteworthy that the suicide of ASI Sandeep Kumar has given a new twist to the IPS Puran Kumar suicide case.

In fact, ASI Sandeep Kumar left a four-page suicide note before his death and also released a video in which he made serious allegations against IPS Puran Kumar. He stated that Y. Puran Kumar was a corrupt officer who used intimidation and bribery to extort money from people. He also stated that after his posting in Rohtak, Puran Kumar appointed his own men and sexually harassed female police officers under the pretext of transfer.

It is reported that ASI Sandeep Kumar was investigating an extortion case against IPS Y. Puran Kumar's staff in Haryana and had arrested Puran Kumar's gunman, which Sandeep Kumar also mentioned in his video. He stated that there is evidence against IPS Puran Kumar. The ASI claimed that IPS Puran Kumar took the step of committing suicide due to fear of defamation, retaliation, and arrest after the corruption was exposed. By taking the step of suicide, Puran Kumar also tried to save his family.

Sandeep Kumar alleged that Puran Kumar and his family members are involved in corruption, which should be investigated. Sandeep Kumar said that Puran Kumar tried to hijack the system by using his brother-in-law's politics, the presence of relatives on the SC Commission, and Dalit casteism. But caste does not give anyone a license to commit corruption. No one can be harassed, as Puran Kumar did. And now, attempts are being made to give Puran Kumar's suicide a casteist color.
