THE 4TH LATE R.P. SINGH CRICKET COACH MEMORIAL COMBINED BOYS AND GIRLS UNDER-14 CRICKET TOURNAMENT FROM DEC.23

The 4th Late R.P. Singh Cricket Coach Memorial Combined Boys and Girls Under-14 (DOB 01-01-2011) Cricket Tournament will commence from December 23 at three venues: Tri City Champs Cricket Ground, Chandigarh, Tri City Inderjit Cricket Ground, and TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula.

According to the General Secretary of Haryana Sports Welfare Association (Regd.), Mr. Amarjit Kumar,  the late Shri R.P. Singh Memorial (former cricket coach of Punjab and Chandigarh) boys and girls combined Under-14 (date of birth 01-01-2011) league-cum-knockout cricket tournament will begin on December 23rd at three venues: Tri-City Champs Cricket Academy, Peermuchhalla, Tri-City Inderjit Cricket Ground, and TDL Cricket Stadium, Sector 3, Panchkula.

Each team will play a minimum of four matches using the Super Sub pattern (12 players allowed). All matches will be played over 25 to 30 overs with a red ball. Both semi-finals and the final will be played at the TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula. Both semi-finals will be played over 30 overs, and the final will be played over 40 overs with an SG ball. The tournament, online scoring on CricHero, and the tournament itself will be covered by BCCI/State Panel Umpires.

Amarjit Kumar further said, the primary objective of Haryana Sports Welfare Association (Regd.) is to regularly organize girls' cricket tournaments and "Beti Khilao" events based on the theme of "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao." This is a social campaign of the Government of India aimed at spreading awareness about welfare services provided to girls and improving their efficiency.

The primary objective of regularly organizing boys' tournaments is to develop junior cricketers and provide them with a platform to hone their skills and showcase their talent at the national level. Additionally, the aim is to protect the youth from rural areas/backward sections/society from drug addiction and drug abuse.
