Four Panjab University (PU) NSS volunteers have been selected for the Republic Day Parade on 26 January 2026 at Rajpath, New Delhi. 

PU NSS volunteers Ms Muskan, Ms Anisha, Ms Sejal and Mr Kamal met PU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig after being selected for their commendable performance in the 10-day Pre-Republic Day Camp. The camp was organised by the Regional Directorate NSS. Dr Parveen Goyal, NSS Programme Coordinator, and Programme Officers Dr Sonia, Dr Chiranjit and Dr Sourabh were also present on the occasion. 

PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig congratulated the students and blessed them with a token of appreciation. All cadets were very happy after receiving the blessing from the Vice Chancellor. 

PU NSS Programme Coordinator Dr Parveen Goyal said that Panjab University NSS takes pride in the selection of its four NSS cadets, who are studying in PU’s affiliated colleges.
