TRIBUTES PAID TO MARTYR CAPTAIN NAVPAL SINGH SIDHU

On the 23rd martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Captain Navpal Singh Sidhu, who was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra by the President, a large number of people paid floral tributes at the Martyr Memorial site in 40 RB Padampur.

On December 30, 2002, Sidhu sacrificed his life after eliminating three dreaded militants ambushed in Surankote, Jammu.

Tehsildar Jitender Singh said that Navpal's martyrdom will be remembered as an inspiration in our lives for generations to come. Inspired by his father, former Colonel Agya Pal Singh Sidhu, and mother Rajendra Pal Kaur, Navpal became an important part of the Indian Army and made the supreme sacrifice while defending the nation.

BK Archana Didi said that those who prioritize national interest above all else are truly fortunate. Bahadur Chand Narang, President of the Beopar Mandal, said that providing support to the families of martyrs should be a part of our traditions.

Hari Singh Khalsa, of Har Prabh Asra Committee, said that the blessed are Navpal's parents who dedicated him to the service of the country. KPTL Manager Manish Makkar, Rotary Club President Satyendra Pal Singh Sidhu, and a large number of others paid homage to the martyr. The memorial site was decorated with the national flag and beautiful flowers. Trust president Agyapal Singh Sidhu, Rajpal Singh Sidhu, and Ghanshyam Harwani expressed their gratitude to all.
