To ensure uninterrupted and smooth functioning of government work in the event of vacancies arising due to transfer, retirement, or during leave, training, tour, or election duty of senior officers, the Haryana Government has designated Link Officers for key posts in the Horticulture Department. An order to this effect was issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi. 

According to the order, in case of absence or vacancy of the Director General, Horticulture, Haryana, the Head of Department (Special), Horticulture, Haryana will function as Link Officer-I, while the Director General/Director, Agriculture, Haryana will act as Link Officer-II. Similarly, in the absence or vacancy of the Head of Department (Special), Horticulture, Haryana, the Director General, Horticulture, Haryana will serve as Link Officer-I, and the Director General/Director, Agriculture, Haryana will function as Link Officer-II.
