HARYANA RAJYA SABHA ELECTION: THREE CANDIDATES FILE NOMINATIONS

Returning Officer for the biennial elections to the Haryana Rajya Sabha, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, informed that three nomination papers have been received today for the Rajya Sabha elections scheduled to be held on March 16. He said that today was the last date for filing nominations, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on March 6.

Sh. Agarwal said that Sh. Sanjay Bhatia from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Sh. Karmvir Singh Baudh from the Indian National Congress, and Sh. Satish Nandal as an independent candidate have filed their nomination papers.

He further informed that candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 9. The polling will be held on March 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Committee Room of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, if required.
