Punjabi Sabhyachar Manch organized 'Nari Shakti Samman Samaroh' at Hotel Sunbeam to celebrate 'International Women's Day'. District Deputy Commissioner Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu was the chief guest, SDM Ravinder Singh Arora was the special guest. The stage was conducted by Shilpa Gaba.
Deputy Commissioner Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu said that no amount of effort is enough to honor women and girls. She said that while working women undoubtedly play a significant role in the development of society and the country, the efforts of homemakers who, while remaining within the confines of their homes, nurtured their children and inspired them to pursue progress cannot be forgotten. SDM Ravinder Singh Arora was felicitated with a memento.
Manvi Makkar initiated the program with Ganesh Vandana, Aalya Khurana enthralled with a medley dance. Nayrin Bhatia recited a poem. The women honored at the function included bank officers Nisha and Meenu Kalra Tuteja, beauty and wellness counsellor Shinam Gilhotra, yoga and dance coach Siya Saharan, post office officer Alisha, dentist Dr. Tina Midha, police constable Suman Rani, 13-13 hut cart operator Lakhwinder Kaur, makeup artist Anita Kaur, Gold Medalist in shooting Tithi Saraswat, bhajan singer Tulsi Goyal, social media influencers Amandeep Kaur and Ishu Sethi, Municipal Corporation building inspector Sonal Bajaj, Shweta Mittal from PSPCL, and Tejaswi Foundation for Excellence state president Mamta Jasuja. PSM president, Ankur Garg, welcomed the guests.
