In furtherance of its zero-tolerance policy against Corruption and upholding its core values of industry, integrity and impartiality, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested its own Inspector posted at Delhi, on 10.03.2026, in a Bribery Case.

The CBI registered the instant case on the allegations that the accused Inspector demanded bribe from a private person for not taking action in a complaint against him allegedly registered in CBI.

The searches were conducted at the residential premises of the accused and incriminating documents including electronic gazettes were seized.

The arrested accused was produced before the Competent Court and the Court has granted two days police remand of the accused for further examination.

Investigation is continuing.
