Akriti Singla, a distinguished alumna of LRS DAV Senior Secondary Model School Abohar, who secured All India Rank 122 in the prestigious UPSC Examination 2025 and is set to join Indian Police Service (IPS), was accorded a grand and heartfelt welcome during her visit to the alma mater.

The school organized a special Vedic Havan Yajna in her honour. Amidst the chanting of sacred mantras, Akriti humbly attributed her remarkable achievement to the blessings of her teachers and the grace of the Almighty.

Principal Smita Sharma felicitated her with a ceremonial shawl and memento and described her accomplishment as a beacon of inspiration for students, emphasizing that unwavering determination and relentless perseverance are the true pillars of success.

Turning emotional, Akriti stated, “DAV has played a pivotal role in shaping my journey. Acknowledging that the strong foundation laid by DAV School was instrumental in her achievement, she added, "the values, discipline and patriotic spirit instilled here have been instrumental in motivating me to dream big and serve the nation.”
