CM LAUNCHES ONLINE PORTAL FOR HAR GHAR-HAR GRIHNI YOJANA, THE SCHEME WILL BENEFIT THE STATE'S WOMEN WITH RS. 1500 CRORE ANNUALLY

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini today launched an online portal for Har Ghar-Har Grihni Yojana for providing Domestic Gas cylinder @Rs. 500 to the Antyodaya families. Notably, during the state-level Hariyali Teej programme organized at Jind, the Chief Minister had announced to provide Domestic Gas cylinder @Rs. 500.
The Chief Minister said that about 50 lakh Antyodaya families will be benefited. Besides this, the scheme is likely to benefit the state's women with Rs. 1500 crore annually.
The Chief Minister said that the goal of our double-engine government is to make the lives of the poor and Antyodaya families easier. As part of this initiative, the portal will provide gas cylinders to about 50 lakh BPL families at Rs. 500 each. The Haryana government will bear the additional cost of more than Rs. 500 per cylinder. The subsidy amount will be credited to the consumer’s account.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that beneficiaries can register for the scheme once from their homes via the link https://epds.haryanafood.gov.in. The beneficiaries can refill upto 12 cylinders in a year. The remaining amount (over Rs. 500) will be credited back to their accounts each month. Information regarding this will be sent to the consumer’s mobile phone via SMS.
