During the 9th session of the 16th Punjab Vidhan Sabha, members present in the House today unanimously passed five important bills.
Disclosing this information, a spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that during today’s session, Higher Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains introduced the Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur Bill, 2025 and C.G.C. University, Mohali Bill, 2025, which were unanimously passed by the House.
According to the spokesperson, S. Tarunpreet Singh Sond introduced the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishment (Amendment) Bill, 2025 and the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Bill, 2025, which were unanimously passed by the members of the Vidhan Sabha.
Similarly, S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian introduced "The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Punjab Amendment) Bill, 2025", which was unanimously passed by the members present.
