The office of Registering & Licensing Authority, UT., Chandigarh has conducted e-Auction of vehicle registration numbers (fancy & choice) of new series “CH01-DA” from vehicle numbers 0001 to 9999 along with left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series from 19.08.2025 to 22.08.2025 in which total 577 registration numbers have been auctioned. Resultantly, enormous revenue Rs. 4,08,85,000/- has been fetched, highest ever in the auctioning of registration numbers.
The following registration numbers have fetched highest bidding amount in the history in auctioning of fancy registration numbers conducted by the office of Registering & Licensing Authority, Chandigarh:

•CH01DA0003 – ₹17,84,000
•CH01DA0009 – ₹16,82,000
•CH01DA0005 – ₹16,51,000
•CH01DA0007 – ₹16,50,000
•CH01DA0002 – ₹13,80,000
•CH01DA9999 – ₹10,25,000
