EDUTHON 5.0, organised by TRINITi, unfolded at JW Marriott, Chandigarh, with over 500 educators, edupreneurs, edtech leaders, principals, teachers, and artists from across India coming together for a day of dialogue and innovation. Powered by Chitkara University, the summit reaffirmed EDUTHON’s stature as one of India’s most impactful platforms shaping the future of learning.
“Education stands at a turning point. With AI redefining learning, we must ensure its integration strengthens the human core of education. EDUTHON 5.0 has been about exploring this very balance,” said Ankur Malhotra, Founder Director of TRINITi.
There was also a book launch of Gurdip Hari’s book, “The Sins of Education.” With each edition, EDUTHON has expanded in depth, impact, and influence, reaffirming its role as a driving force for educational innovation in India and beyond.
The day featured a vibrant mix of panel discussions, fireside chats, masterclasses, performances, networking sessions, and a book launch. The event was graced by Chief Guest Roshan Abbas, celebrated creative entrepreneur and storyteller, who also engaged in a fireside chat with Ankur Malhotra. Sharing his insights, Abbas remarked, “At the heart of education lies creativity and storytelling. These are what inspire curiosity, build empathy, and help technology truly serve humanity.”
Acclaimed actor and author Sandhya Mridul brought fresh perspectives on the importance of mental health for students and the need to address issues related to stress, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeing in education, while Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro Chancellor, Chitkara University, and Dr. Niyati Chitkara, Vice President of School Education, Chitkara Educational Trust, shared their vision on the evolving manifesto of education.
In collaboration with NISA, AIP, and F&PA, EDUTHON 5.0 drew representation from across the country, further amplifying its scale and reach. Meanwhile, global voices included Abhilasha Singh from Abu Dhabi and Alipt Sanam Hari from Ghana, along with leaders like Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO of DCM Schools. EDUTHON has achieved a new milestone, entering the India Book of Records (IBR) for hosting the “Largest Gathering of School Leaders for the Future of Education with AI.”
