Police reported to have registered a case  on Thursday U/S 316(5), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2) & 61(2) BNS EOPS, Sector-17,Chandigarh, on the complaint of Project Director, Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society (CREST), Chandigarh Administration on behalf of Chief Executive Officer- CREST against alleged Abhay Kumar, Ms. Seema Dhiman, & Ribhav Rishi and others (all employees of IDFC First Bank) SCO No. 282, Ground Floor, Sector-32, Chandigarh regarding unauthorized withdrawal & deposits in bank accounts of CREST.

The reconciliation of records with the original bank statements provided by the bank branch total 303 unauthorized withdrawal & deposits were identified in CREST Bank accounts . Total shortfall in the principal amount of Rs.- 75,16,04,293/- . In this regard, FIR U/S 316(5), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2) & 61(2) BNS has been registered. The involvement of other bank officials is under investigation.
