The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM)-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Chandigarh conducted a training programme at Model Jail, Chandigarh, on the topic of premature release.
The programme was organized for jail visiting lawyers and jail para-legal volunteers in coordination with the jail authorities.
As per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the participants were sensitized and guided to process and pursue the cases of eligible convicts for their premature release in a timely and effective manner.
