AIAKPC GIFTS BOOKS, STATIONARY TO 328 STUDENTS

At a simple ceremony, the Abohar chapter of the All India Arora Khatri Punjabi Community gifted hundreds of books and stationary to 328 students at the Arorvansh Dharamshala. 

MLA Sandeep Jakhar was the chief guest, Mayor Vimal Thatai especially attended the program. 

NGO’s Abohar chapter president Naresh Khurana, Chief Advisor Bhisham Thakkar, Kamal Khurana, Praveen Chawla, Manish Bhateja, Aseem Chhabra, Colonel S.P.R. Gaba, Kulbhushan Hiteshi, Naresh Gilhotra, Sumit Tuteja, Rakesh Sachdeva, Dr. Paul Madan, Raj Sadosh, Bhagwant Bhateja, Dr. Amandeep Arora and Mamta Jasuja were also present. 

Project in-charge Bhagwant Bhateja said that eligible students were selected by a screening committee which examined information about their needs.

MLA Sandeep Jakhar said that the way the organization has pledged to help the students, it will definitely solve the problem of such families who were feeling inconvenience in purchasing educational material in the era of expensive education. Blood donation is called Mahadaan which can save someone's life. Similarly, education provides students a strong base to make their future bright. It is commendable that no photo was taken with any student while distributing the material.
