Chandigarh Tamil Sangam continues to play a vital role in community welfare through its various cultural and educational activities, setting an example of service beyond regional various social boundar.
Continuing the tradition, the Sangam successfully organized its 11th Annual "Vidhya Dhaanam" programme on Sumday at Bharathi Bhawan, Sector 30, Chandigarh, in which 650 economically lean back ground children of tricity region (Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali) are benefitted in this noble initiative.
As a part of the this programme essential educational supports, including cycles, school bags, , note books, books, stationery items were distributed to the children, encouraging them to pursue their education with confidence and motivation.
Professionals from various fields such as Judiciary, Legal, Medicine, Engineerinde and senior officials from IAS, IPS, fields are invited to motivate children as a role model to these Children.
