To foster the holistic development of students, the Department of Computer Science and Applications organized an extension lecture focusing on opportunities and prospects within the IT sector. Sushil Kumar (Technical Project Manager at Infosys) attended the event as the keynote speaker. During his address, he familiarized the students with key facts related to the subject matter, as well as the ongoing changes and their impact on the IT sector in the current landscape.

The keynote speaker presented several novel and significant insights regarding how one should prepare to enter the IT field and how to craft an effective resume.

Sushil Kumar is an alumnus of the college. After completing his BCA, he was selected for Wipro through the college's placement department; subsequently, through the sheer strength of his talent, he has carved a niche for himself in the IT industry. He was felicitated by Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan. The event was further graced by the collaborative efforts of Dr. Sonika Narang (HoD, Department of Computer Science and Applications and Dean of the Career Counselling Cell), Dr. Sandeep Agarwal, Sanjeev Kumar, Navneet Golchha, Simardeep Kaur, Pooja Sharma, Neelima, Simran, Pranika, Manju and Raj were in the organising team.
